Lightbocks Zinepress will be talking to the young and old, and most people who will listen, about personal skills on the internet. We design and support independant user spaces and web literacy material.

What kind of skills are we supporting?
- Personal security
- Self Directed Navigation
- Space-making (if you can copy and paste, you can do it)
- Avoiding Traps and Finding Friends

Some folks may be looking for Fediverse Migration easing resources.
-> Metaverse and X escapees looking for a better future can get some shortcuts and tips to make the transition from corprate gate-garden to independant social media a little more smooth and quick.

Qualifications? Millenial operating system and markup language training. Can get most printers working. Initiated in fax services. That kind of thing. Imporantly we started scounting Mastodon and other fediverse social platforms like Pixelfed seven years ago. HTML and XMPP have been back on the radar since 2023, after a long break since 2010 when I spent more time in hardcopy for my creative and explorative projects.
Essentially I'm familiar with the territory some, and manage to poke around without breaking anything I can't reset, much.
My formal training is in social science. My family was in the printing business, and union supporting.
